About Us
Born in 1943
Dry Rain by Sakina is more than an award-winning crystal and gift shop. It is the story of one woman's lifelong passion for creativity, colour and individuality.
From desigining clothes in the 1960's to creating the iconic Flower Power House in 1971, to building one of Liverpools most distinctive independant gift shops, every chapter has been guided by imagination, courage and a love of bringing joy to others
Today, Sakina works alongside her daughter, continuing the family story and welcoming customers in the colourful world they have built together.
Supporting Our Community
For many years, Sakina has believed in giving back. From charity fundraising to supporting local causes, helping people has always been at the heart of Dry Rain. Every visitor who walks through the doors becomes part of our community.
Flower Power House, 1971
In 1971, Sakina hand-painted her family home, creating one of the UK's earliest street art murals. The bold floral design became a local landmark, reflecting her creativity, individuality and fearless use of colour. More than 55 years later, that same creative spirit continues to inspire Dry Rain by Sakina
